Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of GlowApp (“GlowApp”, “we”, “us” or “our”), an online platform for discovering beauty salons and spas and booking appointments (the “Platform”). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. What GlowApp is

GlowApp is a booking marketplace. We connect customers with independent beauty salons and spas (“Salons”) and let you browse their services and book appointments online.

Salons are independent businesses. The beauty or wellness services you book are provided by the Salon, not by GlowApp. Your contract for those services is between you and the Salon. We are not a party to that contract and are not responsible for the quality, safety, pricing or outcome of the services provided by Salons.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• You must provide accurate information, including a valid phone number, and keep it up to date.
• Your phone number must be verified before you can book appointments.
• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity on your account.
• One account per person. You may not create accounts for others or impersonate anyone.

3. Bookings

• When you book an appointment, you make a commitment to the Salon for the selected service, staff member, date and time. The booking is confirmed through the Platform.
• You can cancel a booking through the Platform. Please cancel as early as possible so the Salon can offer the slot to someone else. Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may lead to restrictions on your account.
• Salons may also cancel or modify bookings (for example, due to staff illness). We will notify you of changes through your selected notification channels.
• Appointment reminders are sent before your appointment if you have notifications enabled.

4. Payments

GlowApp does not process payments. All payments for services are made directly between you and the Salon (for example, at the appointment). Prices shown on the Platform are provided by Salons and may change; the final price is determined by the Salon.

5. Sharing your details with Salons

To facilitate your appointment, your name and contact information, together with the booking details, are shared with the Salon you book. How we handle your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Reviews and content

• You may review a Salon only after a completed booking, and only once per booking.
• Reviews must be honest, based on your own experience, and must not contain unlawful, offensive, defamatory or misleading content, or personal data of third parties.
• By submitting a review, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display it on the Platform alongside your display name.
• We may remove reviews that violate these Terms.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Platform for any unlawful purpose;
• make bookings you do not intend to honour;
• interfere with or disrupt the Platform, attempt to bypass security or rate limits, or access data you are not authorised to access;
• scrape, copy or harvest content or data from the Platform by automated means;
• harass or abuse Salon staff, other users or our team.

8. Salon accounts

Salons, their managers and staff receive access to booking information — including customer names and contact details — solely to manage appointments at their own salon. Salons must use this information only for that purpose and in compliance with applicable data protection law, and must keep it confidential.

9. Intellectual property

The Platform, including its design, branding, software and content (other than user reviews and Salon-provided content), is owned by GlowApp or its licensors. You may use the Platform only as permitted by these Terms; no other rights are granted.

10. Termination & account deletion

• You can delete your account at any time from your account settings; see our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, abuse the Platform or its users, or where required by law. Where reasonable, we will notify you and give you a chance to remedy the breach.

11. Availability & disclaimers

We work to keep the Platform available and accurate, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, that listings, prices or schedules are always accurate, or that a Salon will honour every booking.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GlowApp is not liable for the acts or omissions of Salons (including the quality or outcome of their services), nor for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the Platform. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for intent or gross negligence, or your statutory consumer rights.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date, and will notify you of material changes through the Platform. Continuing to use the Platform after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law & contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of Georgia, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
